The symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis may not be restricted to the joints because it is a systemic illness. Fever, exhaustion, and weight loss may also be symptoms of the condition. Some patients with spondylitis experience eye inflammation (redness and pain). Heart and lung issues can also arise on occasion. Additionally, some persons experience hip, knee, or ankle pain, stiffness, and swelling.

It is brought on by ageing, injuries, or excessive pressure from physical activity or body weight around the joint. Rheumatoid arthritis, or Amvata, is a condition that primarily affects young persons. Unfortunately, RA lacks a strong sense of self. Anything labelled “osteoarthritis” is believed to be associated with ageing process.
